Women's Wellness Mornings

A morning of yoga, mindfulness and guided meditation to help you get back to you.

This is a morning designed to nourish your mind, body and soul, and leave you feeling replenished and balanced.

​

We start with a gentle flowing yoga practice, moving our bodies with intention and love. We will gently build heat in our bodies as we flow around our mats, and then we move into slower, more restorative poses aiming to reduce stress and tension, and promote relaxation.

 

The yoga practice is suitable for everybody; I offer multiple options throughout the practice so you choose what is right for your body on the day. I send out a health questionnaire prior to the workshop so I'm aware of any issues and will tailor the practice accordingly. The yoga practice is about 70 minutes long.

We then move into some beautiful mindfulness exercises that allow you to focus on your senses, quiet your mind and enable your body to enter its healing 'rest and digest' state.

​

Finally, we move into a yoga nidra guided meditation practice, otherwise known as 'yogic sleep'. During yoga nidra, you will enter a calming state for the mind and body through guided meditation. The practice creates physical and mental activities that change brain waves to release emotional tension, slow down the nervous system, and allow muscles to relax. This triggers a relaxation response, naturally reducing stress in the body and mind.

The morning should leave you feeling revitalised, nourished and very relaxed.

FAQS

​

What do I need to wear and bring?

​

I supply yoga mats, although you're very welcome to bring your own if you'd like to.

Please bring a cushion or pillow to sit on, and some warm clothes such as warm socks and a snuggly jumper.

Please wear clothes that you can easily move around in, such as leggings. I recommend bare feet during the yoga practice.

Please bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated throughout the session.

Do I need to be experienced?

​

No! This workshop is suitable for anyone - from total beginners to yoga and meditation, to those with a regular practice.
