This class is a great way to have fun with your baby while giving yourself some love too!

It's an opportunity for mummas to focus on some much needed self-care: we work on relaxing and stretching out our aching shoulders, necks, lower backs, wrists and side bodies, and creating stability and strength in our core - with particular emphasis on the pelvic floor.

For baby, we use toys and props while doing the mumma exercises so it becomes a bit of a baby sensory class, and then when we focus on baby we sing songs and do some gentle baby yoga exercises to help with ailments such as colic, wind and indigestion.

It's also a safe space just for mummas to share how you're feeling. You're encouraged to share tips and advice, to ask each other questions and help each other get through the crazy world of being a new parent - and make some new friends in the process!

It's a very relaxed class where anything can happen! We laugh when the babies parp and we understand that sometimes babies may need to feed, cuddle or sleep... and at other times they like lots of stimulation.

The class is suitable for beginners to yoga as well as those with more experience, and is a safe exercise for the postnatal period. It is suitable for babies up until they are moving so much you spend all your time chasing them round the room and have no time on your mat!

FAQs & Important Information
How soon after I give birth can I join this class?
If you had a 'straightforward' vaginal birth, you can join the class six weeks after your baby was born if you feel ready to do so.
If you had a c-section, please wait at least 12 weeks before joining the class. You just had major surgery and you need to give yourself time to heal properly.
If you are unsure when to join, just send me a message and we can chat it through.

Do I need to book or can I just turn up?
Please book in advance. These classes are run in blocks so pleases book into a full block to join the class.

What do I need to wear and bring?
Wear something you can move freely and feel comfortable in. Leggings/ joggers and a loose top are a good option. Bare feet is preferable so you don't slip. ( No - you don't need to have a pedicure to come here. We're mums, who has time for that?!)

What do I need to bring along to class?
A blanket or towel for your baby to lie on
A water bottle to keep you hydrated
Your normal baby bits - change bag/ snacks if needed, etc

What if I need to feed or change my baby during class?
That is very much expected! Just do whatever you need to do, when you need to do it. There are baby changing facilities in the toilets, though most people just bring a change bag and change baby in the hall.

What if I arrive and my baby is asleep?
Leave your baby sleeping! Bring the pram or car seat into the hall and enjoy doing all the mumma yoga without the need to entertain your little one at the same time! If your little one is asleep when it's time to do the baby yoga, I will give you some mumma stretches to do instead!

What if I want to do a block but I can't make one of the weeks? Can I get some money back?
I'm afraid I can't give money back, but where possible I will let you have a free class in the next block - even if you don't sign up for the block! This is not a guarantee although I will do my best. Please give me at least 48 hour's notice ahead of the class you cannot attend to try to make this possible by filling your space!
What if I'm running late?
Don't worry at all. Just come when you can and you'll be welcomed warmly when you get here!

Karina is fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Each class has been great for both my son and I, including some lovely yoga flow for us mums and interactive yoga for the babies. The social time at the end of each class is an added bonus!

Having been to a fair few baby classes, this was definitely one of the best!!! We were made to feel so comfortable and welcome. Nobody knew anybody at the start but at the end we were all chatting away and Karina had set up refreshments for us to stay behind and get to know each other which was so nice! The class content was totally accessible for all levels, explained really well and super fun! My little one giggled his way through the class!

Karina’s baby yoga classes have such a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The perfect mix of mum stretches whilst engaging with baby and silly songs for movement with baby.
