Private hen do yoga sessions

Hen Party Yoga for a fun, memorable and feel-good celebration

Looking for a hen party activity that’s fun, unique and a little more meaningful than the usual?

Hen Party Yoga is a private yoga experience created just for your group — whether you want something playful and hilarious, calming and soulful, or a beautiful mix of both.

These bespoke hen do yoga sessions are designed around the bride-to-be and her guests, so the class can be completely tailored to your group’s energy, personality and plans for the day. Think laughter, connection, movement, relaxation and a memorable experience that brings everyone together.

Whether you’re planning a laid-back countryside hen weekend, a luxury retreat-style celebration, a fun morning before brunch, or a surprise activity for the bride, I can create a private yoga session that fits seamlessly into your hen party.

What is Hen Party Yoga?

Hen Party Yoga is a private yoga class for the bride-to-be and her guests, designed to suit your group rather than following a one-size-fits-all format. It can be light-hearted and playful, soft and restorative, or a blend of both — depending on the atmosphere you want to create.

Some groups want a session full of fun, laughter and partner poses. Others want a grounding, feel-good class with stretching, breathwork and a beautiful relaxation at the end. Many choose a combination: a playful first half followed by a gentler second half to help everyone slow down and soak up the moment.

No previous yoga experience is needed. I provide all mats and props. Classes can be made completely beginner-friendly, accessible and inclusive, so everyone feels comfortable joining in.

A bespoke hen do yoga class, tailored to your group

Every hen party is different, which is why every class I offer is bespoke.

Your Hen Party Yoga session can be tailored around:

  • the bride’s personality and sense of humour

  • the energy of the group

  • complete beginners or mixed abilities

  • the venue and available space

  • the time of day and your plans before or after

  • whether you want something lively, grounding, silly, soulful or a mix

  • any special touches you’d like to include for the bride

The aim is to create a session that feels personal, memorable and genuinely enjoyable for everyone attending.

Ways to personalise your Hen Party Yoga session

One of the best things about a private hen yoga class is that it can be shaped around your group. Here are some of the ways we can personalise your session:

1) Playful, silly and full of laughter

If you want your hen party yoga to feel like part of the celebration, we can keep it light, fun and interactive.

Ideas include:

  • Partner yoga poses for pairs or small groups

  • Group balance challenges and playful team poses

  • Yoga with masks of the groom-to-be for a funny hen party twist

  • Bride-themed yoga games or mini challenges

  • A “Bride Tribe” flow with fun moments built in

  • Cheeky photo opportunities during the class

  • Light-hearted movement and lots of group interaction

  • A themed playlist to keep the energy upbeat and celebratory

  • Confidence-boosting poses to get everyone smiling and laughing

  • Icebreaker moments if some of the group are meeting for the first time

This style works especially well if you want the class to feel lively, sociable and full of good energy.

2) Half playful, half deeply relaxing

This is one of the most popular options for hen parties and a lovely way to bring different personalities together.

For example, your class could be split into two parts:

First half: fun, playful, uplifting and interactive
Second half: slower, softer and more grounding

The first half might include partner yoga, laughter, group poses and energising movement. The second half could then move into gentle stretching, restorative poses, calming breathwork and a deeply relaxing final relaxation.

It’s the perfect option if you want the session to feel fun and memorable, while also giving everyone a chance to switch off and enjoy some stillness.

3) Gentle, grounding and soulful

If your hen weekend is all about slowing down, reconnecting and creating a more meaningful experience together, we can make the class calm, nourishing and restorative.

This style of session could include:

  • Gentle yoga and mindful movement

  • Slow stretching to release tension

  • Breathwork to calm the nervous system

  • A guided meditation

  • A restorative wind-down

  • A long savasana / relaxation

  • A grounding start to the day before other plans

  • A peaceful pause during a busy hen weekend

This can feel especially lovely for groups wanting a more wellness-focused hen party or retreat-style celebration.

4) Bride-focused touches

Your session can also include thoughtful details to make the bride feel celebrated and held.

Personal touches could include:

  • a class theme inspired by the bride’s personality

  • the bride’s favourite songs included in the playlist

  • a short intention-setting moment for the bride-to-be

  • a closing circle where everyone shares a wish, affirmation or message for her

  • a heart-opening or self-love inspired flow

  • a special moment at the end of class just for the bride

  • a class designed around the mood of the wedding or hen weekend

These small details can make the experience feel especially personal and memorable.

5) Tailored to your group’s energy and ability

Hen Party Yoga should feel welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, not intimidating.

Your class can be adapted for:

  • complete beginners

  • mixed-level groups

  • active groups wanting more of a workout-style flow

  • a gentle morning-after recovery session

  • guests who simply want to stretch, move and relax

  • different ages and confidence levels

  • a shorter session to fit into a busy schedule

  • a longer, retreat-style experience

The focus is always on creating a session that suits your group, rather than expecting your group to fit into a standard class.

More Hen Party Yoga personalisation ideas

If you’d like your class to feel extra special, here are even more ways your private session can be personalised:

  • Stretch & Sip – yoga before brunch, lunch or evening drinks

  • Morning Recovery Flow – ideal after a big night

  • Sunrise Yoga – a peaceful way to begin the day

  • Outdoor garden yoga if your venue has space

  • Beach yoga if you are staying near the sea

  • Boho hen party yoga with a more soulful, retreat-style feel

  • Festival-style hen yoga with music, colour and playful energy

  • Luxury wellness hen session with slower movement and deep relaxation

  • Affirmation cards or intention-setting for the bride

  • A grounding circle to open or close the class

  • A focus on friendship, celebration, confidence or self-love

  • A calm pre-wedding reset if the bride wants a more peaceful moment within the celebrations

If you already have your own ideas, I’m always happy to create something bespoke around them.
