Yoga classes on Thursday evenings in Stoke St Gregory

£9 per class if paying as you go

£8 per class if you buy a pass of 10 classes

This is a flowing yoga class suitable for all levels; from complete beginners and those who are quite inactive, all the way through to those who are very active.  Modifications and variations are offered throughout so you can make the class suit your needs.

Despite it being a mixed level class, you do need to be able to get down to the ground and back up again without too much trouble to be able to participate fully in this class. If you are unable to do this, I suggest coming to a gentle yoga class instead. 

 

We start by warming up the body, then move into a flow where we work on building strength and heat, we then move into slower relaxing poses that deepen the stretches and still the mind, and we end with a few minutes of savasana (mindful relaxation).

 

In the classes you will increase your core strength, strengthen and protect your spine, and give all your muscles a good stretch. You will also quiet your mind and focus on your breath and body with no distractions for one hour, which has huge benefits for mental health, and helps improve sleep and reduce anxiety.

I provide yoga mats and props, just bring yourself, a bottle of water and a hand towel to give your knees some extra padding when kneeling.
