Yoga classes on Thursday mornings in North Curry Village Hall

9.15 - 10.15am

£9 per class if paying as you go

£8 per class if you buy a pass of 10 classes

This is a slow-paced class, combining gentle flowing movements and stretches with traditional yoga postures and a focus on the breath. An emphasis is placed on body awareness; understanding your body's needs and respecting your own limitations. The class is accessible for all, with the use of props and chairs for those who need them. Class always end with a five minute 'savasana' - a guided relaxation.

 

Who is this class for?

This is a gentle yoga class suitable for all, regardless of age or physical condition. It may be especially beneficial for people with injuries, pain, mobility or health issues and completion of a health questionnaire is required before attending the class. Everyone is very welcome.

What are the benefits of this type of yoga class?

Attending this gentle yoga class will improve your suppleness, increase your strength and improve your body confidence. As well as the physical benefits, the mindful practice of focusing on the breath and body as you move can have huge benefits on your mental health and can help to improve sleep and reduce anxiety.

What do you need to bring?

I provide yoga mats and props. 

Just bring yourself in comfortable clothes and a bottle of water.

If you have your own yoga mat, you are welcome to bring it to put it on top of one of mine to have extra padding.
